Rukia's fingers were numb. It was only autumn and yet it felt like harsh winter. She hated the autumn. Leaves were dead. Trees were dead. Her once thriving faith in luck was... dead. "What?" She muttered, suddenly feeling paranoid. "Who believes in pure fate anymore? Who?" A voice echoed out in all directions. There was no one else on this empty street.
